Stephen King wrote this book in the wake of a life-threatening road accident, while still on heavy medication. And it shows. Long, gory, weird, but it did hold the attention of both hubby and I 'til the end. Hubby picked it out, to listen to (audio book) during a long road trip. I suppose it deserves more stars, but it was just too disturbing for me to rank it any higher. Gets under your skin as only King can do.
