If you turn the book on its back, you will notice a chromed, perfectly round hole, near the top of the cover. If you plug an Ono-Sendai dermatrode in it, and attach its other side to the jack on the back of your neck, you will start experiencing something.

Well better late than never - I got this after reading Scarlett Thomas' recommendation in the Guardian. I loved it.
