This is probably one of the most beautiful books you are ever likely to read. Roy's descriptions are rich and extremely evocative and the pace and storyline will keep you the turning pages and completely immersed in the world of the characters. This is probably one of the most beautiful books you are ever likely to read. Roy's descriptions are rich and extremely evocative and the pace and storyline will keep you the turning pages and completely immersed in the world of the characters. The language used is so beautiful that phrases and snippets will stay with you for days and weeks afterwards, and cliched as it may sound, this is one of those books that leave your life richer for having read it. You will feel joy, pain, happiness, grief and a whole range of other emotions and all at full force. Highly, highly recommended.
