Set in an alternate world where literature is taken much more seriously than our own, The Eyre Affair follows the exploits of Thursday Next, a LiteraTech operative. It's fille ... (continue)

Completely deranged!
A compelling parallel reality, constantly surprising and definitely comical, totally witty, with interesting consistent characters, from the super-evil Acheron Hades to the unusually sweet Rochester to the small officers, each with his distinctive fascinating features. Worth reading!!!

The Best Reviews: Jasper Fforde, The Eyre Affair
"A must read. This is an original!" In 1985 time travel and cloning are a consistent part of life. In Britain, English literature has become so in vogue, original manuscripts are quite valuable. Just ask any of the zillion Williams, Charles, or Milto ... (read full critics)
