Different individuals have different priorities and in order to connect with our partner, we need to be able to identify what language they best understand. Expressing love in a way that your partner doesn't understand also leads to frustration on both ends as we feel that we are doing a lot and our partner feels that we aren't doing anything for them.

I would suggest this book to anyone who is committed to better understand how to love your partner leading to a happier life :-) There are some things that the author has suggested to do to improve our love language and also how to determine our language through a simple quiz.

  • the book did change my mind, as well as my life. The only thing I feel sad about this book is I read it too late, that I failed to save my relationship with my girlfriend.

  • The Five Love Languages

It’s a gift from a sister in Lord. After reading the book, I found that I am more emphasize on acts of service whilst my husband, words of affirmation. This realization can help me to understand my husband better and vice versa. :)
