I think it is the great blessing to be always remembered in someone's mind even though your own memory has died.

A well written but sickly sweet and sentimental love story not really my style of reading material. I have only ever read one other of this author's books, 'The Wedding'. I even did a Bookring for it as at the time I enjoyed it, must have been the frame of mind I was in. I was surprised when members of the ring had such negative opinions. Now I know why and reading other reviews here it sounds as though all the authors books are in the same vein. Sorry just not for me.

I thought Allie is an awful woman. She came back to her first lover before her wedding, that seems betray to her fiancé to me. Even though the writer their deepest love over and over, it can’t change what I thought.

I kept my feeling until half of this novel. Allie got brain disease, Alzheimer's disease, she was losing her memory, she didn’t know how to return home, she didn’t remember who she is. She forgot her husband, her great lover, Noah. That reminds me another book which I read recently, Making Rounds with Oscar.

If your lover who doesn’t remember who you are, are you still love her?
Does love still alive? when the memorize between you has half disappear.

Noah consider love still exist. Since Allie fall in love with Noah once and once. I felt tears full of my eyes when Allie says Noah’s name, she calls him, my sweet Noah. Noah thinks that is a gift from God.

Until there, I start accept Allie and Noah’s Love.
