1984's "soulmate" book
This is one of those books you cannot miss in your life. A visionary, troubling and terribly realistic story about the importance of culture and human exchange. I read almost all of it in the subway and I was creeped out by the image of dull people listening to their earphones...

It's not bad, but also not that good as I anticipated prior reading it. Compared with Zamyatin's We, Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451 is a pretty straightforward novel.
