Excellently creepy novel from the ever-inventive mind of Neil Gaiman.

And, after reading it, I can assure that it is THE fairy tale. Non in the childish meaning of the term, but in the fact that it REALLY teaches us that evils can be beaten.
Coraline is an amazing book, it's a story that can be read at various levels, since it will make children thrill and adults frighten.
Maybe it's the shortest novel by Neil, maybe it's children-targeted. Well, who cares? It just DESERVES to be read, whether you're eight or eighty. That's all.
Looking forward to watching the movie.

Ho terminato questo libro in brevissimo tempo, divorato direi, l'ho trovato inquietante e delicato allo stesso tempo. Penso che lo leggeremo insieme, piuttosto che lasciarla da sola nella lettura.
Modern-day Alice in Wonderland, with a creepy and chilling twist.
PS The movie is fantastic too!
Una fiaba gotica delicata e oscura.
I loved it! Well written, engaging and so entertaining. So much more than a simple "children book".
