Second in the series - The Vampire Chronicles

If I picked this up today and read it again, perhaps it wouldn't get quite the same high marks, but at the time, I was eating up anything I could find on vampires. I loved this.

  • I highly enjoyed this book as it shows Lestat's side of events before, during and after he met Louis. Rice portrays Lestat no longer as a sort of villian but as witty and a complex character with his own personal tragedies and struggles.

  • I still haven't managed to finish this which is a shame as I love most novels about Vampires and I enjoy Anne Rice - I've just been too busy.
