Vampire Diaries is a young adult vampire horror series of novels.
They are extremely easy to read (good for intermediate level English learners). It takes at most 4 hours to read each of them (the double for the fifth book which is longer). They are extremely shallow and recreational and if you need to take your mind off they are really great.
I’m a fan of the TV series. The adaptation for the TV is an outstanding job. The screenwriters have only followed the general plot and then developed a new story with plenty of additional characters.
