When I first read this book I found it fascinating and the account of events on Everest quite upsetting. Since this time I have read many other accounts of the events on 10 May 1996. As a result I'm not as quick to praise 'Into Thin Air' any more. It is an absorbing read and remains one of the best ... (continue)
