Most of the book is journalistic drivel, and from a non-political journalist of rolling stones magazine. It recorded McCain on the primary campaign trail back in 2000 and that McCain was the republican anti-candidate, anti-establishment and trying to talk the truths even when it hurt him. Still one thing the author got right was that McCain was no push0ver and that all his moves were shrewd and yet he came across as spontaneous. I came out from the book still convinced that McCain is a dangerous man and he is also non-conformist.
