  Terribile che sia stato preso in prestito per insulsi giochi televisivi. Questo è un capolavoro, andrebbe trattato con più rispetto. Quando fu scritto era considerato fantascienza, ora non ne sarei così sicura

  Grave lacuna colmata in ritardo. Immenso, poche altre parole per descriverlo. Immenso e angosciante, di un'angoscia senza speranza.
  La prosa di Orwell, poi, è stupenda.

  Due to personal reason, I re-read it in 2006. Still capture the very nature of totalitarianism and the claims come to its truest moment ever in history. Striking, stunning, we should bear this masterpiece in mind as the surveillance it has mentioned become much easier with the help of foreign technology. And for the ruling power -- it's all about capitalism, you know.

  L'immagine più impressa è quella di una camera con un antico letto in ferro battuto: l'unica stanza in cui si può evitare di essere sotto controllo e si possono vivere pienamente il proprio amore e i propri sentimenti!

  這本書是我在三橫環台時的讀物，在花蓮時還看到欲罷不能，直到旅館熄燈才停止。
  英文 Wiki 上有這本書的詳細介紹，所以就不多談內容了；大致上，這是一本偏黑暗的小說，可能會傳遞負面的人生觀給讀者，儘管它是世界名著，但不太適合作為青少年的讀本。
