  This book is an excellent,moving account of
  Orwell's experience as a volunteer fighting with
  the POUM milita in spain.It's still my favourite
  Orwell book.

  an incredibly INTENsE book. you live breath see touch Orwell "the man". War as menkind's drama.
  ...the simplest and still most astonishing ending. it leaves you speechless.
  A must.
