  If you can stand repetition after repetition of the same sentences and concepts, then you may be able to get some interesting information out of this book.   If you can stand repetition after repetition of the same sentences and concepts, then you may be able to get some interesting information out of this book. The author goes on and on with the same quotes of Steve Jobs, the same examples. I get the impression Leander Kahney is assuming his readers are dummies or affected by ADD and they need to be reminded every few pages what the book is about.

  Apart from the poor style, the book includes some useful information and draws a good picture of the complex personality of Steve Jobs.

  In a nut shell, if you want to know something about Steve Jobs, it is just a so-so book. Presentation Secret of Steve Jobs could be a better option.

  This book tells how unusual Steve is in making his own decision. He trusts his common sense. He doesn't buy focus group. His attention to details and micromanagement. His emphasis of user experience rather than the product itself. His preference of vertical integration and total control of the devices. His highly charismatic and motivating skill to skew his employees to raise their bar. All these make him an unusual CEO.

  That said, there is only one Steve Jobs. If you dare to do anything like him in the company (conducting presentation in turtleneck?), be prepared to receive warning letter. In addition, the same story and quotation appear in this topic for multiple time. Why?
