    "About a Boy" non è about a boy. O meglio, è about two boys, uno di taglia adulta e uno di taglia regolare. E' anche, sottilmente, la storia di come troppi soldi e nessuna responsabilità possano rallentare lo sviluppo emotivo delle persone. Ma soprattutto, è un libro tenero e bellissimo, che vanta innumerevoli (e pessimi) tentativi di imitazione.

  • Totalmente diverso dal film,divertente e scorrevole(nonstante il mio inglese stentato)l'amicizia tra Will e Marcus è in qualche modo anche commovente.Forse 3 stelline sono troppe,non c'è una via di mezzo tra "bello" e "così così"? Diciamo piacevole!

  • L'ho letto per la prima volta a 17 anni, ora ne ho 24 e continuo a rileggerlo di tanto in tanto e, benchè lo conosca a memoria, mi emoziono sempre. Ora ho provato a rileggerlo in inglese e ho scoperto che Nick in lingua originale è pure meglio che tradotto!

    L'ho letto per la prima volta a 17 anni, ora ne ho 24 e continuo a rileggerlo di tanto in tanto e, benchè lo conosca a memoria, mi emoziono sempre. Ora ho provato a rileggerlo in inglese e ho scoperto che Nick in lingua originale è pure meglio che tradotto!

    A livello di trama e personaggi, sono onesta, esistono libri migliori, ma mai nessun libro mi ha catturata tanto come questo.

    It took me a while to get through the book, with a bunch of things going on. It was good, don't get me wrong, but it just wasn't the book I was looking for at the moment, it didn't grasp my attention fully, but like I said, it was quiet good, I enjoyed the characters as I watched them grow (or in Marcus' case, became their own age). An enjoyable book if you're in the mood for it.
