An intense, and terrifying, journey into the mind of a 'number 1 fan', of a fiction writer. Possibly King's worst nightmare?!
Anyway, I could not put it down, and having watched the movie first it did not spoil the book at all.

Probably the best King's book I've ever read!

It was not easy for me reading this book, I must confess. I had to improve my english, so I decide to begin from something I'd surely appreciate. And I found a great novel, well written.

During the day I've had no time for reading (I was studying chemistry if I remember.....), so I took time for this only past 21.....It was not a good idea, I could not sleep after reading...bbbrrr...too much scared!
Years after I've seen the film with a wonderful Kathy Bates. Perfect, absolutely perfect!

I don't read a lot of thrillers, or horror for that matter, as I like to sleep at night and I tend to mostly read right before bed. I made an exception for Misery, and wasn't disappointed - how could I be? Stephen King is a ... (continue)

I don't read a lot of thrillers, or horror for that matter, as I like to sleep at night and I tend to mostly read right before bed. I made an exception for Misery, and wasn't disappointed - how could I be? Stephen King is a master.

And of course, having seen the movie - it's very difficult to get Kathy Bates portrayal of Annie Wilkes out of your head as you read it - and why would you want to? Kathy Bates is such a remarkable actress.

A thriller that is well, wickedly thrilling.
