L'ha creato Roddy Doyle per ambientarci i tre romanzi dedicati alla famiglia Rabbitte: The Commitments, The Snapper e The Van. Ma per quanto mi riguarda si tratta di un luogo molto reale, non lontano da dove ho passato quattro anni, sempre a Dublino, sempre North Side. Altro che Joyce e i suoi feckin' Dubliners: la vera essenza della città la trovo solo qui.
