  come todd andrews capisce (piuttosto comicamente) quale sia la sola, ultima e unica soluzione (il suicidio) e per quale motivo non riesce nell'intento. perchè la vita è una floating opera, uno spettacolo tenuto sul ponte di una barca che vediamo passare dalla riva di tanto in tanto, e di cui riusciamo ad afferrare il senso della trama solo a sprazzi. perchè "the truth is that nothing makes any difference, including that truth".

  the (tragicomic) story of todd andrews' realization that suicide is the only, final solution, and how he isn't able to achieve it.
  because life is a floating opera, a play staged on the deck of a boat drifting up and down the river, and we, the audience, sit along the bank and catch only a bit of the plot now and then.
