Book Description
The Final Chapter
Harry has been burdened with a dark, dangerous and seemingly impossible task: that of locating and destroying Voldemort's remaining Horcruxes. Never has Harry felt so alone, or faced a future so full of shadows. But Harry must somehow find within himself the strength to complete the task he has been given. He must leave the warmth, safety and companionship of The Burrow and follow without fear or hesitation the inexorable path laid out for him.
In this final, seventh installment of the Harry Potter series, J.K. Rowling unveils in spectactular fashion the answers to the many questions that have been so eagerly awaited. The spellbinding, richly woven narrative, which plunges, twists and turns at a breathtaking pace, confirms the author as a mistress of storytelling, whose books will be read, reread and read again.

I love this series. Rowling does such a fine job of creating characters you can really care about. I'm actually going to miss these guys now that the series is done.
My only suggestion is to not even think about picking up this book unless you have a big block of time set aside. It is crazy addicting, like crack for your eyeballs.
I didn't love the ending of this book, but the book was so hard to put down, to know that the adventure would end. My favorite character will always be Snape!
Wonderful end to an amazing series! Kudos to J.K. Rowling!
but pretty good. It's dark, of course...plenty of death, which makes it sad. I will say that the very end was so predictably cheesy. Of course so-and-so and so-and-so-had to get married and have kids with the names that they had, but anyway...

I can't get over how bad this book was. The worst possible ending to a series that started with so much promise. The character development stopped right around 4th year and this book was just an ugly rehash of all the problems they had been going through in the last few books. Plus it's plot was driven along by things that a 2nd grader would have come up with. And worst of all, she creates this whole wonderful land and cast of characters, and then in the last book ignores them all to let 3 whiny teens wander through the woods for months. Really just terrible and one of the biggest let downs ever.
