I just loved the fist two Dexter books, Darkly Dreaming Dexter and Dearly Devoted Dexter. This one just did not live up to the first two. It was ok, but I have to admit mild dissappointment. I hope the next one gets back to the devious dexter I have grown to love.

Not as good as the previous books. Too much Dexter at Home and not enough Dexter at Play

This same story could have easily been written with just any-old protagonist at the helm. It's still an enjoyable read, but it doesn't reach the level of the previous two Dexter books.

Good, but getting kind of tv-ish . . . like Lost, it's getting lost in the paranormal.
