There's something to be said for a good old fashion light reading & Meg Cabot has really accomplished that plus a whole lot more with this book. It was a refreshing change to read what I think every girl wants every once in a while...semi Happily ever afters but with a twist. Cabot's characters a flawed but humorous. I loved this book for the sheer joy of reading something entertaining.

I did something on another book site that I NEVER do and that was read this books reviews. Most of the reviews weren't that great and I almost didn't read it because of the reviews BUT I am so glad I went ahead and read it because I loved the book and it's quirky character Lizzie. It isn't a gripping book but it is very light and fun reading. A total chick book.

Very good book!! Light, fun read. It didn't take me anytime at all to read this and I fell in love with the characters.

A fun read. Cabot always delivers a fun and entertaining read. I can't say that it was very thought provoking or well written, just entertaining. I own a signed copy, but I checked out the audiobook from the library.
