  　　十年前讀這本書，震驚於它切中我生活的環境臺灣；今年重讀這本書，又震驚於它切中中國大陸快速發展下的環境弊病。不同意柏楊立場的人很多，柏揚本人的學識與觀點也有爭議之處；但，當一本談民族性的書可以一而再，再而三的重複在華人區出現相同的預言效果時，我們實在是該自我警惕：究竟是柏楊真的看透了甚麼，亦或是我們沒有反省改變甚麼？
