    Dopo questo libro, la chick lit non ha più avuto motivo di esistere. Non che prima ne avesse. Però questo libro riesce contemporaneamente a rappresentare la categoria e a metterla alla berlina, che non è un'impresa da poco. E riesce anche a prendere in giro le sue lettrici, cosa che (temo) poche avranno notato. Geniale.

  • oh come on, let's not be snobs:

  • this first novel was HILARIOUS, spot-on, and had good surprise value (we still didn't know we'd be inundated by worthless chick-lit for years to come). V.v. excellent, as she'd write.
