I learned to love Edward and Jacob even more in this book because of the endless devotion they had for Bella and the way they began to understand one another's points when it came to keeping her safe. It's also really great to find out how each of them became vampires and what their stories were.
I am in love with these books. They get better and better as each one goes along. Awesome story, a must read.
I just love this series. I find myself reading so fast because I want to see what happens between Edward and Bella, adding the extra plot with Jake also led me to love this novel. I can't wait for the fourth book!
I love this book!!! I liked it more because Bella picked Edward over Jacob!!;]

As Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob—knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella has one more decision to make: life or death. But which is which?

I have to give credit where due. Stephanie Meyer has certainly grown as an author since her debut novel, Twilight. In this book she has given her characters character and her plot conflict. It is also very apparent that Meyer has constructively used the criticism leveled at the first two books in the series. I found this book very enjoyable to read, and as a mother, I appreciate the improved message that this book presents to her young female readership (as opposed to those that were presented in her first two books). My only wish is that this had been the first book of the series and that it had grown from here.
Another good one. Twilight was still my favorite, but I like that the plot was a little more twisted and indepth in Eclipse. Still couldn't put it down till I finished it and at the end I was happy, angry and sad all in one and wondering "what next?" Any book that accomplishes that has to be good. B ... Continue

Bella got on my nerves sometimes in this book, as did Edward when he was Mr. Controlling, which was good because previously they were just too perfect! Still love ALL the characters, even when I hated them at times :)
I love these books!!
This is an awesome book! I can't wait for the next one to come out! Or the movie for that matter!
just totally addicting.
Another great read from Stephenie Meyer. Don’t be turned off by the fact that it is a YA novel because there is nothing juvenile about this book. Another great read from Stephenie Meyer. Don’t be turned off by the fact that it is a YA novel because there is nothing juvenile about this book. Bella may only be 18 but don’t be fooled she is all grown up. She has practically raised herself, plus her mother, & she is about to be off & on her way to collage & is engaged to Edward. I’m absolutely head over heels for Edward & I am so excited that they are tacking there relationship to the next level & Jacob is out of the picture relationship wise. Jacob is a great guy, & I hope the series will continue & he will find someone for himself, just not Bella they don’t seem right for each other. I can’t wait for her next novel The Host.
Awesome! Definitely not the one to start with if you're new to the series, and definitely what you were waiting for if you've been there from the beginning.
Meyers continues the emotional whirlwinds of Bella, but by the conclusion it still doesn't conclude with a bang - only a whimper. All three books have relied heavily on emotions and been saved with flashes of great action, although this time the emotional side overwhelms the story. A glorious fini ... Continue

A glorious finish would have been nice, but instead it was just pretty good, with many unanswered questions for yet another follow-up novel.
another great book by Stephenie Meyers. Likable characters and tense conflict
Another great romance from Stephenie Meyer. Like New Moon, this book takes off from the last time we were with Edward and Bella. Another great romance from Stephenie Meyer. Like New Moon, this book takes off from the last time we were with Edward and Bella. Not only does Bella have to worry about normal everyday teen life, she also has to deal with the darker issues (i.e. vampires and werewolves). I have to say this book started to really frustrate me. I mean, Bella is supposed to be so in love with Edward but she is hesitant to marry him. Then she "discovers" that she is in love with Jacob too. Its really starting to get ridiculous. I can't wait for the fourth book to come out so that I can find out if she will really marry Edward (or disappoint me further by going down this other love road). All in all, its really a good book and definitely worth a look.
Great third book in the series...I am only sad because I now have to wait for the next book, and I have a feeling it will be a while.
I guess I didn't *love* this one as much as the other two because of Jacob coming into the picture too much. I'm an Edward-lover, so I wasn't really all too eager to see Jacob step up to the plate. I'm so horrible. =)
