  Nora Roberts is always good for a quick read and this installment of Eve and Roarke was great as usual. I think this book was more brutal than normal, but it was there to develop the story line not just for the sake of it. All the regular characters (I love Peabody and McNab)were there, I can't wait for the next book. It's also nice to see Jamie Lingstrom again and to see how his life has changed, he slots in nicely to the team.

  Actually 4.5 stars.
  Not so touching as "Promises" but very good at the case solving part.
  This sery is still going on strong after 30 books.

  Look see the team work, the friendship, and the brainstorming.
  I just hope our police is half as good.
