I have read every book of the Shopaholic series of Sophie Kinsella, and I have to say the the days of Becky Bloomwood's shopping days are numbered.

Kinsella has been using the same formula for every book and this is no exception. All characters are one-dimensional and the plot is deja vu. Even the jokes are familiar. It all boils down to cliche and I don't think I would give a damn to Becky's life anymore. In fact, she is obnoxious.

But the book is easy to read and at times, still funny.

this is the 5th of the shopaholic series and it´s quite good... even if becky is losing some of her shopping attitudes, in the end she shows some cleverness and strength in other ways that make up to not having as many shopping trips that make you laugh..

  • An enjoyable series

I ended up really enjoying the shopaholic series. With each of the books I read, I enjoyed the characters more, and more:)

  • This was probably my favorite book of the series so far. I enjoyed the Venetia storyline (it had me guessing), and of course all of Becky's over-shopping was funny as always.

  • Perhaps too much news related to financial problems. I find that it is difficult for me to read this kind of shopaholic. I cannot look at the funny side any more.
