It's not an easy read after a hard working day and your brain is drained out and English is not your mother tongue.

I'll put it aside for a while, when I have more time.

Unfortunately it is over dramatized with borrowed story lines from Shakespeare. The main character, Turin, didn't have much depth either. His bad temper, stubbornness, and rash decisions brought about his ruin so it was hard to feel sorry for him. It's entertaining, but don't expect anything ground breaking.

From the First Age, the most dramatic of the "long tales" finally in a continuous narrative!
