Byron Justicano has becomed a hunter of the undead after he recoved from his injuries in Dark Desires. While traveling through Italy Byron is enchanted by the music of Antonietta Scarletti. After Byron's encounter with Antonietta he is able to see and feel again, his first reaction is to covert her as claim her as his carpathian lifemate but after getting to know her he realize that she needs a choice. This is a very different Carpathian story with 2 great main characters.
