  I have a long list of books to read in Italian. Probably I would never read "Tears of the Giraffe" in Italian. So I decided to buy it in English.

  These books will never be masterpieces. But are well done and enjoyable to read. The human nature description is the core-business in the n.1 ladies' detective agency.

  Tears of the Giraffe

  This is more of a character driven story than you usually find in a traditional cozy mystery story, which is probably why I like this series better than I like most cozy mystery series.

  Lovely

  I have a thing for this series of books. It's well written, and always enjoyable. The characters are well portrayed and you can't help but fall in love with the lovely Mma Ramotswe. Enjoy!

  As with any of the Alexander McCall Smith series (No1 Lady's Detective Agency, Scotland Street, Sunday Philosphy Club etc...) every new book is like meeting friends you haven't seen in a while, and you're never disappointed.

  I often think about some of the characters as if they were real...and that does not happen with all the books a read !
  I sometimes wish I haven't start reading them...
