  • GOSSIP GIRL, THE CARLYLES #2: YOU JUST CAN’T GET ENOUGH

Blair, Serena, Nate and Dan may be confined to their television show now, but the Upper East Side still exists in novels --- and now it's ruled by the Carlyle triplets, the newest students at Constance Billard and St. Jude's. This second Carlyle adve ... (read full critics)

  • GOSSIP GIRL: THE CARLYLES

Good morning, Upper East Siders! Gossip Girl here. Oh yes. She's back. B and S and N and J and D and V have moved on (both figuratively and literally), but not to worry. Gossip Girl (who is she, anyway?) still has plenty of scandal to blog about. The ... (read full critics)

  • Regretful

I bought it out of curiosity, but never went further into the saga. I didn't get it, nor did I get all the hype about it.

This is what I'm talking about! Just when you thought things are starting to normalize in the Upper East Side or perhaps, just peaceful. Think again. Something will always come up to pull some strings and tie them in crazy knots, creating more twists in the events. Things are heating up, making the plot more interesting and exciting. The scandalous touch is still there making the story still gossip-worthy. Anyway, I'm looking forward to Blair's mighty wrath, Jenny's rising rebellion and I'm still waiting for Chuck's character to really stand out. Maybe he's just like a sleeping dragon, gathering up all the energy, and will be ready to pounce and throw flames at the Upper East Side. Oh well, you'll never know. Let's just wait and see.
