A wonderful YA fantasy.
I recently saw the trailer for the movie, and while I was on vacation, ran into my copies of the books, so I decided to read them again. This is definitely a unique story that any fantasy or even sci-fi fan should love.
Pretty good book. The story seemed very original and it had you wondering how things would end right up until the conclusion. Pretty good book. The story seemed very original and it had you wondering how things would end right up until the conclusion. I do wish things had been wrapped up a little bit more at the end since I've had it recommended that I not read the following books in the series due to their very obvious agenda. The audio version is performed by a large cast, most of whom do an excellent job portraying their character.
I'm sure the movie will be better. I liked the concept of the story, but after being 3/4 through the book, I still didn't have enough information about "the big mystery" to want to keep reading.
