An uncomfortable read especially if you are Italian

This book impressed me a lot when it came out as it highlighted something that foreigners don't really appreciate: how dark Italy's heart really is. This book impressed me a lot when it came out as it highlighted something that foreigners don't really appreciate: how dark Italy's heart really is. Tobias Jones does an excellent job at trying to explain to non Italians some of the key historical reasons which caused Italy to become as "lawless" as it is today. Considering how my fellow Italians have been behaving recently, I actually think the book would be worth readind also for Italians!
