Bella may only be 18 but don’t be fooled she is all grown up. She has practically raised herself, plus her mother, & she is about to be off & on her way to collage & is engaged to Edward. I’m absolutely head over heels for Edward & I am so excited that they are tacking there relationship to the next level & Jacob is out of the picture relationship wise. Jacob is a great guy, & I hope the series will continue & he will find someone for himself, just not Bella they don’t seem right for each other. I can’t wait for her next novel The Host.
I love this book!!! I liked it more because Bella picked Edward over Jacob!!;]

I have to give credit where due. Stephanie Meyer has certainly grown as an author since her debut novel, Twilight. In this book she has given her characters character and her plot conflict. It is also very apparent that Meyer has constructively used the criticism leveled at the first two books in the series. I found this book very enjoyable to read, and as a mother, I appreciate the improved message that this book presents to her young female readership (as opposed to those that were presented in her first two books). My only wish is that this had been the first book of the series and that it had grown from here.
Completely awesome, but so surprising too about her relationship with Jacob and the things that happened at the end of the book in relation to him. I swear if she ends up with Jacob in the last book I'm going to throw something! LOL Team Edward all the way! Don't tell me though. I'm waiting for the ... Continue

This book was better than it's predecessor in that it brought back a lot of the players that make this series interesting.
It also continues on a lot of the cheesy teen mush mush that I've come to despise about this series.

Also, I really begin to have a disdain for Bella's character. She goes from mildly ok to slightly annoying in her choices and behavior by the time this book roles around.
I got to wonder, what's an almost 100 year old vampire doing with a girl of this maturity level?
Let's just say that in this third book of the Twilight saga...the vampire and the wolf form an aliance while both trying to win over the same girl. This can cause some awkward situations!
