    • My fav out of the entire series! Lots of action in this one with the whole vampire army hunting Bella and all. Plus, we finally hear about Jasper's past and how he met Alice! I'm sad it took two books to get to him though, but it was worth the wait!

It also continues on a lot of the cheesy teen mush mush that I've come to despise about this series.

Also, I really begin to have a disdain for Bella's character. She goes from mildly ok to slightly annoying in her choices and behavior by the time this book roles around.

I got to wonder, what's an almost 100 year old vampire doing with a girl of this maturity level?

    • Totally Amusing
    • Let's just say that in this third book of the Twilight saga...the vampire and the wolf form an aliance while both trying to win over the same girl. This can cause some awkward situations!

This is the third in the Twilight Saga series by Stephenie Meyer. I learned to love Edward and Jacob even more in this book because of the endless devotion they had for Bella and the way they began to understand one another's points when it came to keeping her safe. It's also really great to find out how each of them became vampires and what their stories were.

I am in love with these books. They get better and better as each one goes along. Awesome story, a must read.

I have to give credit where due. Stephanie Meyer has certainly grown as an author since her debut novel, Twilight. In this book she has given her characters character and her plot conflict. It is also very apparent that Meyer has constructively used the criticism leveled at the first two books in the series. I found this book very enjoyable to read, and as a mother, I appreciate the improved message that this book presents to her young female readership (as opposed to those that were presented in her first two books). My only wish is that this had been the first book of the series and that it had grown from here.

Still couldn't put it down till I finished it and at the end I was happy, angry and sad all in one and wondering "what next?" Any book that accomplishes that has to be good. Bella got on my nerves sometimes in this book, as did Edward when he was Mr. Controlling, which was good because previously they were just too perfect! Still love ALL the characters, even when I hated them at times :)
