  • I listened to the audio version of this novel shortly after I finished in paperback. I loved learning the pronunciations of some of the words. It was a wonderful audiobook, although it made me uncomfortable at times becasue of the graphicness of the scenes.

But political events, even as dramatic as the ones that are presented in The Kite Runner, are only a part of this story.   • This is one of my all-time favorite books. Read it quite awhile ago but I remember it impacted me greatly. There are so many feelings in this one book. It is written so well.

  • Got this from the guy I was dating at the time for Christmas. I was hesitant about it at first but it has been one of the best, truest, stories I have ever written.
