Unfortunately the writer fell back on the usual trite and over used template. 1000 yr old demon finally meets his love in the form of a 3oo yr old demoness. She thinks he hates her, he thinks she hates him and will never win her love...blah, blah, blah. Many misunderstandings ensue. Her first one, Jacob, was much better. Should have stuck with that formula. Perhaps she'll get back to that in her 3rd book. If not, I'm done with this writer.
