Another really good book by/about Feynman. It's incredibly sad in the beginning, especially combined with his letters, but it's a lot of fun overall.

There are again some stories from his life - I was touched by the opening one on the sickness and death of his first wife, only briefly mentioned in the previous book - but here we have also personal letters, drawings, sketches, pictures. We get to see him from different perspectives, and he doesn't look so one-sided as he claims himself to be.
Very interesting the chapters about his doings in the Challenger shuttle disaster inquiry.

Finally, I finished this book. It is a painful journey to breakthrough the boring and difficult parts in such a short time. However, books that being hold by others are good books, especially with 2 holds.

Mr. Feynman is a very funny guy. As in "surely your're joking", Mr. Feynman." He still has the same humour.

Chapter 1, "The making of a Scientist" explained to the reader how Feynman's father influenced him to be a scientist. It is quite interesting. It is the way people should learn things. Relate the reality to the things you have learned from books or elsewhere. Linking things together is the key point. You can't remember things tight if you only have bits and pieces.

Chapter 2. "What do you care what other people think" is the most fascinating and important chapter in this book. (You can tell that from the name of the book). This chapter talks about Mr. Feynman and his first wife, Arlene. It is very interesting and Feynman and Arlene do love each other.

"It's as simple as One, Two, Three" is okey. Feynman likes to do lots of strange experiment.

"Feynman Sexist Pig!" shows his doesn't care about others thinking thoroughtly.

"I just shook His Hand, Can You Believe It?" is his little adventure in Japan.

"Letter, Photos and Drawings" is boring because I know very little about Feynman and I don't quite understand where he is and who write to whom. His drawings are very good.

Part 2 is about Mr. Feynman investigating the space shuttle CHALLENGER disaster. It is very boring because I barely understand this part and I know nothing about the CHALLENGER. Of course, I still get something out of this part. It shows that big organization has many management and technical problems. The bureaucracy of NASA made things complicated and troublesome, all those word-smithing and paper work is tedious. I don't like any political things.

I don't understand "The value of science" at all. May be I should read it twice but I didn't have the time.

In short, it is quite a good book but I can't understand the second part of it.
