Murakami never disappointed me. Gotta love this one too. Probably because half of the book was from female view point, it becomes much easier for me to get into it. (or just because of Chinse?) i accidentally read book 2 before book 1. still could grasp what's the plot. so i guess there's not much twist in the plot and the plot is not, as always, the essence Murakami Haruki's novel. it's about the unique writ and expression he's using. there're so many touches and carefully crafted sentences which are so unmistakably "Murakami Haruki". impressed but not really moved. maybe i'm no longer the innocent youth that read norwegian wood almost 20 years ago . . .
