  i think 1Q84 is not good. compared to his previous products. book 1 and book 2 focus too much on sex. sex scene is always effective and multi functional element in novel world. in this book, i think it serves the purpose of giving readers kind of addiction. These scenes tries to balance the boring part of the story. but it is neither moving the story forward or describing anything at all.

  in book 3, the details of describing characters are overwhelming. the author was just too get used/ enjoy on writing. although he is not using disgusting metaphor as 張小嫻 did. still, way too much.

  In terms of effectiveness and word crafting, Asada Jirou is obviously the expert. 1Q84 is getting out of control as it develops.

  very un-Murakami Haruki. i'm not used to the happy ending. and y there's a book 3 at all? it tries to make the storyline clear and explains all the missing bits & pcs in books 1 & 2. but it's very . . . un-Murakami Haruki!

  i just cant get used to the story telling mode of book 3.
