Almost all of the Wheel of Time books I've read so far are too long for their own good. This one is no exception, but it's more bearable than its predecessor. It also gets better the nearer the end you get.

All in all, it was good enough to push me to start the following book immediately. Feel free to skip some of the most pointless descriptions: the reading experience will be much improved ;)
