Meanwhile, the town is seething with racial tension because a distinctly unsympathetic black football star is accused of raping the daughter of a prominent member of white society. Will Charlie sell his soul and integrity to keep the vultures at bay and retain his private airplane and his beloved 'Turpmtine' estate?
