Rough start, but I eventually got into it. Very "King Arthur" like - would-be king fights to save his country. Beautiful princesses, goddess-worshipping priestesses, sword fights, blood, love… little bit of everything.
This was my first experience reading GGK and I rather liked it, but wasn't overly taken with this story about troubadours. However, the writing was lovely and I decided to persist. GGK just keeps getting better and better. Tigana and The Lions Al-Rassan are two of my favorite fantasy novels. He's a master, and defintely worth reading....Continua
