A funny summer reading
Nice, funny reading. All characters but Mo are a little bizzarre - if not grotesque, especially Oscar. Maybe Dora is too much of a weirdo (I mean, who in the world would attack his/her mother that way at all time? Have a break!)

A laugh out loud funny book - but that's it
I was expecting something more from Dawn French. I was in fact quite disappointed by this book, which was supposed to be a funny novel: in fact, it was just funny. I really loved this book and am
now lucky enough to have a signed copy of it on my bookshelf! Considering it was her first novel, I think Dawn did really well at keeping the plot tight and the story moving whilst giving you so much to identify with each of the characters.
