Excellent storytelling.
This book is more like listening to Malachy spin a yarn in front of you. It's not really like reading a book. Great stories of a man (mid 20's and on) and his adventures in New York. This book is more like listening to Malachy spin a yarn in front of you. It's not really like reading a book. Great stories of a man (mid 20's and on) and his adventures in New York. My favorite so far is about his summer on an island in Long Island Sound, how he talked his friends into sharing "a great beach house" (actually a shack), so he then had it to himself for the summer, and told the ladies that if he is wearing his ascot to the side then "he is available for the evening". I really laugh out loud while I'm reading this story, and that is a very nice respite given all the work and other stress i'm dealing with currently.
