Review by Ann Wilkes (AUG 22, 2010) Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter, obviously an alternate biography, is fun from beginning to end. Seth Grahame-Smith’s includes mock journal entries and Photoshopped historic photos, so that the novel reads like an a ... (read full critics)

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter I must admit when I first heard about, figured it had to be a parody of some previously badly done novel. But the idea and title intrigued me enough to give it a read and BOY was I wrong. This is a well thought out story with very in depth research into Lincoln's actual history, blended together seamlessly to create one of the most original and entertaining tales I have read in a long time. Picture the film version of Sherlock Holmes mixed with excitement of Batman (The Dark Knight version) and throw in a handful of Tim Burton's unusual visual talent (Minus Johnny Depp this time, which would have been interesting as Mr. Lincoln)and you have a tale that will make you turn pages at a fast paced rate.
