  Ritengo che assieme allo Stevens (Advanced programming in the UNIX environment) e' il miglior testo sulla programmazione dei sistemi UNIX, e lo è stato per lo meno fino al 2011 allorquando e' stato pubblicato "The linux programming interface" che probabimente diventerà la nuova bibbia.

  Ritengo che assieme allo Stevens (Advanced programming in the UNIX environment) e' il miglior testo sulla programmazione dei sistemi UNIX, e lo è stato per lo meno fino al 2011 allorquando e' stato pubblicato "The linux programming interface" che probabimente diventerà la nuova bibbia.

  A differenza dello Stevens (buffered I/O Standard library), questo in oggetto si focalizza solo sullo standard POSIX.1 e SuSv3, nessuno spazio alla libreria standard ISO C.

  Eccellente, un pelo più complesso dello Stevens!

  I'm sure this is the best book i have about Unix programming! There are a lot of books about this topic but i'm sure this is one of the best ones.<br />In every chapter you can find comments on different implementation of the API, in different Unixes (Solaris, Linux, BSD...); moreover this boo ...   I'm sure this is the best book i have about Unix programming! There are a lot of books about this topic but i'm sure this is one of the best ones.<br />In every chapter you can find comments on different implementation of the API, in different Unixes (Solaris, Linux, BSD...); moreover this books helps you to choose through POSIX or System V interfaces.<br />A modern book about an "old" topic.
