  I'm sure this is the best book i have about Unix programming! There are a lot of books about this topic but i'm sure this is one of the best ones.<br />In every chapter you can find comments on different implementation of the API, in different Unixes (Solaris, Linux, BSD...); moreover this books helps you to choose through POSIX or System V interfaces.<br />A modern book about an "old" topic.
