Someone recommended this book to me because I am interested in manic depressive - or bi-polar -disorder. There are so many textbooks and articles out there, but this book combines factual background knowledge of the disorder with an actual autobiographical look inside the mind of one who suffers from it. Highly recommended! It's a good read if you want to know more about bipolar disorder, or if you want some good English literature. This autobiography is very poignant, especially considering that the author herself, a bipolar patient, is also a clinical therapist. This is a great story about how she struggled her illness and eventually triumph over it. She also writes with such prose that makes it very captivating. My favourite bipolar book so far!...Continua
