    在圖書館的書架上看到這本書作者時, 心中湧起一陣熟悉的感覺。幾年前，當週遭朋友在為Sophia Kinsella 的 Shopaholic 系列瘋狂時，我收集Marian Keyes。"Angles"，"Watermelon"，"S ushi for Beginners"，"Last Chance Salon"， "Rachel's Holiday"，"Lucy Sullivan is Getting Married"，這些書從紐約跟著我到灣區，只是家務繁忙空間 又不夠，就任由它們躺在紙箱裡一直到現在。

    這是Marian Keyes 所寫的愛爾蘭五姊妹系列中其中一本，主角是排行第四的Anna Walsh，背景是在紐約。一開始Anna因為車禍嚴重受傷，回 到老家修養，日子一天天過去，她的父母與姊妹還是照著她們外人看 起來很怪異，有點幽默又有點溫馨的方式過日子，Anna十分迫切 期待自己可以恢復行動能力的那一天來臨，想要回到紐約見她的先生 。在車禍中已經喪生的先生。Anna知道他的先生已經去世，也參 加了他的葬禮，只是"知道"與"接受"是完全不相干的事。

    Anna回到紐約後也馬上返回原工作崗位，每天發email給先 生報告她每天的穿著， 在手機留言只爲了聽聽他的聲音，雖然她試著在眾人面前表現正常， 但是只有她自己知道，每晚失眠躺在雙人床上的她過得有多痛苦。

    書中有一段描述有關於去世的親人化身為蝴蝶造訪，我自己有類似這 樣的經驗。當然我不能完全肯定的告訴你那一定是，但是這是我安慰 自己方法之一，也是讓自己相信的動力。
